Here’s a project I started at the end of 2023 and have now finally completed. I created a film for a martial arts club, capturing their activities during one shooting day. I directed, shot, and edited the project myself, entirely freestyle with no script. The beautiful color grading was done by @conwaycaps. Special thanks to @nepomuk_fischer from Oinkfilm for lending me equipment.

I experimented with new techniques in this project, including mixed media - I printed individual frames, painted them by hand, and scanned them back in.

I also made a few mistakes along the way, which I learned from. I’ve become more familiar with my camera, learned the importance of lighting, and improved my gimbal skills.
